A unique vintage style cottage house perfectly located and surrounded by Greek green landscapes, trees, flowers and a stunning view at the White Mountains and at the sea of Chania gulf. ‘Orestis’ house is one of a kind house of 95 sq., that accommodate up to five or six guests within two spacious bedrooms, one living room, fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom. A big detached private terrace can offer the ultimate relaxing atmosphere and a joyful view to the traditional village of Stalos. The building in which this house is, was constructed during the Turkish occupation of Crete, probably in the middle 19th century. A typical arch as well as the front garden are an indication of its age and architecture. The rumor is that it served as the residence of the region’s Turkish ruler since it was considered the best and most comfortable house in the village. Pano Stalos(Upper Stalos) village is a place where nature is paired with Geek traditions and Cretan hospitality, an area where you can enjoy the beauty of Cretan nature, as the mountainous part of the village is built on the lush hills of olive and orange trees. Enjoy the stunning and breathtaking view, of olive trees, mountains, sea, ocean and Kato Stalos beach. Kato Stalos (Lower Stalos) is a beachside tourist village located 7km west of the historic city of Chania (Xania). The pristine, sweeping sandy beach has been awarded the prestigious EU Blue Flag every year since 1999, and is well organised with good facilities for relaxing and having fun. There are plentiful cafes and restaurants along the main street and many more right on the beach, as well as numerous supermarkets and places to purchase traditional Cretan produce. Our Hotel ’ is a summer resort, ideally located on the hillside of the picturesque famous and traditional Cretan village of Upper Stalos (Pano Stalos), in Chania. Only 1800m (20 minutes walking distance) from the famous sandy beach of Stalos, 7 km from Chania center and 23km from Chania airport (CHQ).
